Reservations

For visitors traveling to Landmannalaugar during the day in the summer by car or motorcycle, a reservation is required.

A service fee is also required for all vehicles entering the area during the summer.

If you plan to travel to Landmannalaugar on any day between June 20 and September 14 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., make a parking reservation and pay the appropriate service fee on the Parka website. Reservations for a given season can usually be made starting on April 1.

If you visit outside of the posted hours, reservations are not required, but you still have to pay the service fee if you visit between the dates detailed above.

You can enter the region on foot or on a bicycle without paying the service fee or making a reservation.
